1. Provider and acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between Intranel Consulting Services Ltd ("Intranel", "we", "us", or "our") and the person or organisation installing or using PDF and Word Document Import for Confluence (the "App"). If you use the App for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. The service
The App converts PDF and Microsoft Word (.docx) content into editable Confluence Cloud content using automated extraction and artificial intelligence services. Results may contain omissions, formatting differences, or errors, particularly where source documents are damaged, ambiguous, or unusually complex. You must review generated content before relying on or publishing it.
3. Account and permitted use
You must have a valid Atlassian Confluence Cloud account and comply with Atlassian's applicable terms. You may use the App only for lawful business purposes and only with documents you are authorised to process.
You must not use the App to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, introduce malicious content, bypass security controls, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the App except where law permits, or facilitate illegal or harmful activity.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of documents you submit and outputs generated from them. You grant us a limited right to process that content solely to provide, secure, and support the App. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, backup, and permitted use of your content.
5. Microsoft and Atlassian services
The App depends on Atlassian Confluence Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Azure AI Document Intelligence. Those third-party services are governed by their own terms and may change independently of the App.
Microsoft Azure services are subject to Microsoft's applicable subscription terms, Data Protection Addendum, and Enterprise AI Services Code of Conduct. Microsoft states that Document Intelligence customer data is not used to train its models and that temporarily stored input data and results are deleted after the applicable processing period.
6. Privacy and security
Our handling of information is described in the PDF and Word Document Import for Confluence - Privacy Policy, and the safeguards we apply are described in the PDF and Word Document Import for Confluence - Security Policy. You must not submit information unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate authority to do so.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including in response to security, legal, Atlassian, or Microsoft platform changes.
8. Fees and marketplace purchases
Pricing, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for purchases through Atlassian Marketplace are handled under the marketplace listing and Atlassian's applicable terms, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
9. Intellectual property
Intranel and its licensors retain all rights in the App, documentation, branding, and underlying technology. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for the subscription period; they do not transfer ownership of the App.
10. Warranties and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". We exclude implied warranties that may lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intranel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from use of the App. Our total liability relating to the App is limited to the fees paid for the App during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using or uninstall the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms, create a security risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or where required by law or a platform provider.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law. The courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections continue to apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Contact and changes
Questions about these Terms may be sent to appsupport@intranel.com. We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively where required by law.
